Royal Albert Hall to Host 2024 Olivier Awards - Dates announced

The 2024 Olivier Awards, which honour excellence in London theatre, will take place at Royal Albert Hall on 14 April 2024. On Tuesday, 12 March, the much-anticipated nominees will be revealed. The qualification period for the following nominations runs from 15 February 2023 until 27 February 2024. This includes shows in all major categories, such as dance, opera, family, and affiliate.
The Society of London Theatre has been in charge of the Oliviers since its founding in 1976. Prominent victors in the 2023 edition encompassed Suzie Miller's Prima Face (currently enchanting Broadway) for Best New Play, with Jodie Comer winning Best Actress. Rebecca Frecknall's revival of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire secured recognition as the Best Revival with awards for Paul Mescal and Anjana Vasan.
My Neighbor Totoro at the Barbican Theatre won multiple awards, including Best Director, and the production of Standing at the Sky's Edge at the National Theatre emerged as the winner of the Best Musical category.
