The musical version of Beetlejuice in London follows the story of teenage goth Lydia Deetz and the mischievous demon Beetlejuice, who refuses to stay dead. With a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King and music & lyrics by Eddie Perfect, the creative team brings Tim Burton’s cult film to the stage with flair. It opened on Broadway in 2019 and earned multiple nominations, including eight Tony Award nods. On the West End, forecasts anticipate the same wild visual energy, including sandworms, séances and inventive staging at the Prince Edward Theatre.
In this mischievous musical, Lydia Deetz moves into a house with her father and soon finds it haunted by a recently deceased couple and the irrepressible ghost Beetlejuice. As Lydia struggles with her mother’s death and her own outsider identity, she summons the ghost-with-the-most for help, and chaos ensues. The soundtrack pulses with dark humour and theatrical flair, and the show keeps you wondering whether the living or the dead are really in control. The plot twist? You’ll have to see the show to find out.

By far one of the best musicals I've ever seen! The show was fantastic, the cast blew us away, and the audience interactions were perfectly timed. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a musical with great songs, infectious humor, and a storyline that’s familiar yet reimagined. The musical incorporates many familiar elements from the original film but effortlessly transports the story to a fresh setting. A great experience for both fans of the classic and new fans alike. A big compliment also to the set designers, prop makers, and costume designers, as you can see just how much work must have gone into the production. I would go see it again anytime.

The atmosphere at Prince Edwards' Beetlejuice was amazing. The jokes always hit, David Flynn was a wonderful actor who worked really well with the audience during the interactions. The woman who played Delia during the night of 5th of June, was an absolute riot, and very well casted! My friend and I loved Beetlejuice and will definitelly attend again! A lot of the merch was unfortunately sold out.
As soon as we arrived, it was clear that we were in for an unforgettable evening. The theater itself captures the atmosphere of the musical, and we weren’t disappointed. Everything was perfect—a spectacular set design and a fantastic cast. The show was hilarious; everything came together perfectly. We’ll definitely be back.

A truly outstanding cast and a spectacular show overall. Mr. Juice was top-notch entertainment from start to finish. Lydia brought a ton of energy and a lot of emotion to the performance. I’d recommend it to anyone, as long as you can handle the intense lighting effects.
