Rebecca, a best-selling novel by Daphne du Maurier, is to come alive as a psychological thriller at London's Charing Cross Theatre between 4 Sep - 18 Nov 2023.

Rebecca tells the gripping story of an unnamed narrator who enters into a marriage with a wealthy widower, only to find herself entangled in a web of eerie happenings surrounding her husband's deceased first wife. Blending elements of period romance, suspense, thriller, and gothic tale, this production offers a unique and captivating theatrical experience.

With an orchestra of 18 musicians, the musical is set to be helmed by director Alejandro Bonatto, known for his work on "Rita." The production boasts a new English translation by Christopher Hampton, who has earned two Tony Awards for his outstanding contributions to theater. The original book and lyrics are penned by Michael Kunze, while Sylvester Levay takes charge of the music and orchestration.
