Mamma Mia! The Party London is an immersive theatrical dining experience created by ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus. First staged in Stockholm in 2016, Ulvaeus co-wrote the original production with Calle Norlén and Roine Söderlundh before it was adapted for The O2 in London by Sandi Toksvig in 2019. Set in Nikos' Greek taverna on the island of Skopelos, the production tells an original story unlike the Mamma Mia! musical while featuring many of ABBA's greatest hits. Co-directed and choreographed by Stacey Haynes and Roine Söderlundh, the four-hour experience blends live theatre, Greek dining, and a post-show ABBA disco in a format unlike any traditional stage musical.
Set on the sun-drenched Greek island of Skopelos, Mamma Mia! The Party follows Nikos and Kate as they run their lively taverna with help from family and friends. As chef Debbie stirs up mischief and young lovers Adam and Konstantina dream of a future together, love, family, and friendship are put to the test. Will everyone find the ending they're hoping for?
