Maddie Moate’s Very Curious Christmas returns to the West End this festive season with a limited engagement at the Garrick Theatre. This Olivier Award–nominated hit ('Best Family Show') transforms Maddie’s beloved children’s book into a live STEM extravaganza, reuniting her with fan-favourite elves Tinker and Goggles, plus on-screen Mrs Claus With interval‑free 60 minutes of seasonal magic, live experiments, audience quizzes, and theatrical charm, it’s an immersive treat for families. Storyline

Maddie is sent on work experience to Santa’s North Pole workshop, where things are spiraling out of control—silent crackers, snow machines gone haywire, flickering lights. With Mrs Claus due any moment, Maddie and her young audience help Tinker and Goggles restore order using science, curiosity, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic. Together they race the clock to pass the ultimate inspection and save holiday cheer.

    The bus routes that pass through the theatre are 3,6,9,11, 12, 23, 24, 87,88, 91, 139, and 453 (Trafalgar Square, 10-minute walk), and 24, 29, and 176 (Charring Cross Road, 5-minute walk).

  • By car:

    You can also take other modes of transport including taxis. Since Garrick Theatre is within London’s Congestion Charge Zone a daily fee of £11.50 will be charged if you travel between 7 am to 6 pm.
