Storyline

Handbagged play imagines what transpired behind the closed-door meetings between the two legendary female leaders in British history: the monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, and her most powerful subject, Margaret Thatcher. While Lilibet inherited the throne from her father, the people of England picked the Iron Lady to occupy the seat of power as the Prime Minister. The two titans were born six months apart and forged a path that altered the course of history. But who emerged the true leader? Who held the ultimate power?
