Neil is the chief writer and cowrites the show with Malcolm Clarke and Theresa Haskins. Theresa Haskins also directs the show, with associate director Caroline Wilkes.


Set in the 1950s, Marvellous follows Neil Baldwin's life. Neil finds himself travelling throughout the nation, transforming into a well-known clown, enrolling at Keele University, receiving an honorary degree, and the fun doesn't end there. He is named Stoke City's illustrious Kit Man, makes the Queen's New Year Honors list, and receives a BAFTA for a film that was based on his extraordinary adventures. He turns into a role model for others around him, a local hero who serves as a constant reminder that, with enough self-belief, any ambition is possible.
