5London’s West End has a new demigod in town, and he’s flexing his way through Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Disney's Hercules brings its animated charm to the stage with high-energy choreography, dazzling visuals, and enough sass to make Hades proud. But does it live up to its legendary status? Let’s break it down.
This show will never be in my top 10 musicals list, however the performance we were at had possibly 3 or 4 school groups who embraced it totally. The staging was excellent, costumes fun and the muses were completely incongruous/amusing. For parents this would be a great way to introduce their children to the glory of theatre Even though it was not for me, I would recommend people to go and decide for themselves.
Brilliant vocals, interesting dances and mindblowing costumes. Visual for the kids and some nice jokes for the older audience. Absolutely lovely theater staff who helped us around. The only drawback for me was the way how Hades character was reimagined.
I loved the experience and the location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The actors had exceptional voices and the orchestra was great. An incredible atmosphere that leaves beautiful memories. Would love to do it again
We were blown away! My friend and I came for a girls’ outing and we absolutely loved the show. It’s a performance that dazzles you from start to finish — with humor, incredible costumes, stunning voices, and a story we all know and love. Thank you!
The theater is amazing—beautiful like a museum and at the same time spacious enough for the crowd to spread out. The performance was great, and we loved the costumes and special effects. The actors were very professional in their roles.
