Ambassadors TheatreRead more

The Ambassadors Theatre once known as the New Ambassadors Theatre, designed by architect W. G. R. Sprague, was conceived alongside the adjacent St. Martin's, both born in 1913. However, construction on St. Martin's was halted for three years due to the First World War. The Ambassadors was purposefully built as an intimate, smaller venue and is conveniently located across from the prestigious restaurant The Ivy, a beloved gathering spot for the theatrical elite. English Heritage classified the theatre as Grade II in March 1973.
