Monsieur Richard Firmin on the Phantom of the Opera

Matt Harrop was part of Phantom of the Opera’s cast revamp in 2021, post COVID-19 , joining the production as the character Monsieur Richard Firmin, the co-owner of the Opera Populaire on the show. He also played this role during the National Tour of the production. Harrop learnt from the best at the Guildford School of Acting. His past performances include Bustopher in the UK & Ireland Tour of Les Misérables, My Fair Lady, the Sound of Music, and Jones/Asparagus in the European version of Cats. Apart from theatre, he also regularly performs in TV shows, including Quacks and The Cellar Door.
