“Christie’s suspicious view of human nature intersects brilliantly with the vagaries of the legal system in her Witness for the Prosecution play. The majority of the action takes place in the courtroom, and its inherent theatricality is dialled up to the max: costumes and wigs, exhibits held aloft like props, and competing florid barristers attempting to convince us that their story is the truth.“

The storyline is very positive. The music by Elton John is not memorable in the way of an ear worm, but it still sounds vaguely familiar. There were 20 actors on stage- I am more familiar with plays of 4-5 actors. Lighting was showy and modern.

The dark atmosphere and dim lighting give you the impression of being in Hogwarts Castle. The actors truly convey the feelings of joy, fear, and anguish—true professionals. What moved me most was the relationship between the parents and their children (Harry, Draco, Albus, and Scorpius). As a father myself, I understand the difficulties of not always knowing how to talk to your children, but even so, you would give your life for them.

What a fantastic experience! We had great seats, which we were even able to book on the same day. The theatre itself is beautiful and full of history, which immediately adds to the atmosphere of the evening. Hercules is a wonderful musical packed with humor, energy, and strong performances. We enjoyed it from start to finish – highly recommended for anyone looking to see a musical in London.
