21Like a pair of shiny Louboutins, The Devil Wears Prada struts onto the West End stage with all the dramatic ferocity of the original film. Driven by a stellar cast, it delivers a feast of visual splendor, powerhouse performances, and unforgettable moments. Don't blame us if you end up rewatching Meryl Streep's cold-hearted rendition for the nth time when you get home...
I've never been to a musical before. The Mrs. couldn't stop raving about it. I didn't want to go. So we compromised and got near-front row tickets. From the first minute, I was hooked. The lights, the music, the fashion, was astounding. I'd never been interested in fashion in particular, but the number of costume changes, the vibrant colours, and how up close and personal the cast get, when you are sitting near the front, was mesmerising. Stand out performances for me, who really elevated the show, were: Vanessa Williams as Miranda Presley Taila Halford as Emily Matt Henry as Nigel Even if you're not a fan of musicals or fashion, I'd highly recommend. If you're a fan of either, it's a must-see P.s. Anta Bah in ensemble also stood out in her own unique way!
This was my very first musical, and honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Devil Wears Prada in London was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I went with some friends, and we were all blown away by the quality of the show. Whether it was the actors, their amazing voices, the stunning costumes, or the beautifully designed sets, everything was just perfect. There was so much to take in, we didn’t even know where to look! We laughed, we were amazed, and we left with stars in our eyes. I 100% recommend this experience, even and especially, if it’s your first musical. It will definitely remain my favorite memory from my trip to London. And to finish, here’s a photo of the view from my seat in row G, the view was amazing !
It was an amazing show. I think it's a super comercial musical, with a great sense of fashion. I loved the performance of Vanessa Williams. Its was stunning to see her on stage.
This is my first time in the UK and honestly Devil Wears Prada made it unforgettable for me, the atmosphere was amazing, I loved each act.
The Devil Wears Prada Musical is one of the greatest ever. The production successfully brings the glamour of the fashion world to the stage while exploring themes of ambition, identity, and personal sacrifice. Musically, the songs are polished and expressive, helping to communicate Andy’s emotional journey. However, a few numbers are truly memorable. Despite this, the score effectively supports the narrative and maintains audience engagement. The performances are a key strength. Miranda is portrayed as authoritative and in control, though she appears slightly more human and less intimidating than in the film. Andy’s development is clear and relatable, while supporting characters add humor and energy. Visually, the production is outstanding. The costumes are a highlight (especially the changing right up to the end!), reflecting the high-fashion setting and enhancing the overall spectacle. Choreography is dynamic, and scene transitions are smooth, creating a fast-paced and immersive experience. In conclusion, The Devil Wears Prada musical is a visually impressive and enjoyable production—a stylish comedy. It’s a smart, character-driven story about ambition, identity, and the cost of success. Elevated by unforgettable performances, it remains one of the most entertaining and insightful workplace musicals of its era. We loved it, with almost 2000 audience members standing and applauding at the end for the tremendous performers. SHAPOO!
