After a long break, the beloved children's musical is back for one summer only at the Palace Theatre. Based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks comes a stage adaptation filled with music, dancing, puppetry, and a whole lot of audience participation.
Join two clever robbers, one tiny ladybird, and a whole crew of farmyard animals as they take you through an adventurous journey of trying to steal the farmer’s cow. Will they make it? Will the Ladybird save the day? Come on down this summer to find out!
Storyline
Based on the beloved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks comes an adventurous story of a group of animals. While Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len come up with a devious plan to steal the farmer’s fine prize cow, they reckon they can’t pull it off without the tiniest creature on the farm - The Ladybird. Little do they know that the Ladybird has her own plan!
Join the Ladybird, the jolly sheep, the hairy hog, the fat red hen, the dainty dog, and the rest of the farmyard crew as they save the day through a captivating adaptation of the original book.

About Theatre
The Palace Theatre, located on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue, dates back to 1891 when it was built for Richard D’Oyly Carte as The Royal English Opera House. It opened on the 31st of January with Arthur Sullivan’s Opera Ivanhoe, which ran for 155 performances. After many hit shows and major renovations over the years, Palace Theatre is now all set to welcome What the Ladybird Heard play.
