Mad House is a dark yet funny play written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck. The play is all set to hit West End for a limited run this June. It will feature a star-studded cast including two Hollywood stars. David Harbour, known for his riveting performance in the Netflix series Stranger Things, stars as Michael and legendary actor Bill Pullman with acclaimed films like The Sinner and Independence Day under his belt, stars as Daniel.

Storyline

Mad House is set in rural Pennsylvania, where Michael has come back to take care of his dying father. He is joined by his siblings Ned and Pam but their motivations appear to be less than genuine. Under the garb of being there in the final moments of their father, they have come home to figure out how much money their dad is actually leaving behind and how they can strategize getting their hands on all of it.

About Theatre

Ambassadors Theatre, which opened in 1913, was designed by W. G. R. Sprague. It was built to be a companion to St Martin's Theatre, allowing smaller productions to be staged in a more intimate setting. With a capacity of 444 people, it is one of the smaller theatres on the West end. Agatha Christie's Mousetrap, which was performed at the Ambassadors Theatre from 1952 to 1974, is one of the theater's most renowned shows.

Train: Leicester Square Underground is the closest tube station and Charing Cross is the closest mainline station.

Bus: Bus routes 14, 19, and 38 serve Charing Cross Rd, stopping close to the theatre. You can also board the buses on line 24, 29, and 176 and get dropped at a walking distance from the theatre.
