Based on the international best-selling and award-winning book series by Terry Deary, The Birmingham Stage Company and Neal Foster bring the Horrible Histories series to life on stage. To date, more than a dozen different Horrible Histories shows have been staged, several of which have run together as double bills. Horrible Histories has also come out with shows on the Awful Egyptians, Ruthless Romans, Blitzed Brits, and Groovy Greeks, in addition to the Terrible Tudors. There are shows dedicated to Nottingham and the Great War, as well as a Horrible Christmas show. The Horrible Histories stage performances have toured the United Kingdom since their debut in 2005. About Theatre

The Apollo Theatre is a Grade II-listed West End theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue, named after the Greek God of Arts and the Leader of the Muses, Apollo. The theatre opened with The Belle of Bohemia and is known to host popular plays and musicals like Romantic Comedy, A Madhouse in Goa, and the award-winning show Defending the Caveman.
