Every country’s past seems barmy to the new generation! Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain - Part Five! takes this idea and extrapolates it to make a fun, over-the-top, quirky, albeit educational play. In the deft hands of Director Neal Foster, author Terry Deary’s wildly popular children’s stories called the “Horrible Histories" came to fruition as a stage play. The hilarious illustrations of the book are what make history palpable to young kids. Foster took a cue from this and adapted the play into a colorful and wacky feast for kids to enjoy, with subtle satirical quips for adults as well.
