The award-winning Buffy Revamped returns to the West End for a very limited run of two shows with director Hamish MacDougall and writer/actor Brendan Murphy at the helm. Based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer which centres on a 16-year-old vampire slayer named Buffy whose nighttime duties often clash with her daytime role as a teen, this production retells the tale from the perspective of Spike, a frequent antagonist and potential love interest.
Storyline
On the site of Hellmouth, where demons, ghouls, and vampires abound, sits the American town of Sunnydale. In this hellish abode of shadowy corridors and secret lanes, Sunnydale High's Buffy sits at the ready to vanquish nightly critters and pop quizzes alike. Across 144 episodes of exquisite television, Buffy experiences the highs and lows of high school while occasionally staking (and loving) vampires on the side. One such antagonist-lover, Spike, has taken to the stage to retell the tale, walking down memory lane and throwing in little nuggets of insider information.
