The Story

The name One Woman Show says it all. This show is a brilliant depiction of a woman in her 20s staggering through life. With a funny yet dark take, the show uncovers the life of the lady on stage, a crazy roller coaster to put simply. The show comically targets liberated women and attacks their egotism and need for attention. It revolves around her largely ordinary office job, a dear friend, and a disastrous personal life, with a switch between flashbacks and a present-day story. The show’s sarcastic tone raises issues about how women are portrayed on stage and is held together by fits of uncontrollable laughter.
