Their lives run in parallel initially before they get intertwined in a sentimental swirl of time, place and people, showcasing the history of Sheffield as a whole, as well as Britain.
Standing at the Sky’s Edge invokes themes of political upheaval, industrial labour, gentrification, social cleansing, and many others, giving an extra layer to the musical as a thought-provoking social commentary.
