Matilda The Musical reviews

My kids found it realistic and loved that the actors were actually children as it truly immersed them in the world. They found Mrs Trunchbull hilarious, and really enjoyed all the songs. The adults really loved the stagecraft and I was personally wowed by the performance of the School Song, with the alphabet letters cleverly pushed through a frame and the performer climbing on top of them lighting up as they go - really fantastic!

Little Matilda’s performance was masterful! The whole production was magnificent, and all the actors were excellent! It’s just a pity we don't speak English well enough to understand all the subtleties of the dialogue.

The performance truly embodied children and their passion to make the world, their school a place for fun and laughter. The performance from all the kids was incredible and we loved Miss Trunchbull she was outstanding.

We saw a young lead actress who was simply endearing, and all the characters were dressed so wonderfully! We also found the set fantastic; it spoke volumes ...😄👌

Amazing team of actors! We're trully impressed by the quality of the singing acts and kids actors are sooo talented! Our 9 year old loved it, and we've also!!! A great show for families!
