The BBC and Studio AKA TV series, Hey Duggee has won numerous EMMY awards and six BAFTA awards since its early days in 2014 and has earned a cult favourite status during the COVID-19 shutdown. The programme was created by director Grant Orchard and features comedian Alex Armstrong's witty and lighthearted narration. Cuffe & Taylor and Kenny Wax Family Entertainment are adapting and producing The Live Theatre Show, Hey Duggee.

The Story

The main characters of Hey Duggee are baby animals, including a dog, a crocodile, an octopus, and a hippo. This tight group of friends refer to each other as squirrels. Duggee is the biggest and friendliest dog in town! You're invited to the Clubhouse by Duggee and the Squirrel Club for a day of fantastic entertainment. All of Duggee’s friends are up to something and are interested in hiring a new member. Some are singing, some are dancing and some are sewing too! Tube: You can reach the Royal Festival Hall by alighting at the Waterloo station which is serviced by the Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Waterloo and City lines. You can also get off at Embankment station, serviced by the District and Circle lines.

Bus: Route RV1 stops on Belvedere Road which is less than a minute’s walk from the venue. There are buses in routes 1, 4, 26, 59, 68, 139, 168, 171, 176, 188, 243, and 521 which stop on Waterloo Bridge, a two-minute walk away.
