We found this show to be very immotional with fantastic cast and songs. A must see show for everyone with a clear message on how we should be helping each other in very difficult circumstances. Wonderful production, great scenery and flow throughout the whole time. You only had to part of the audience reaction to know how good this was.

    Why watch Dear Evan Hansen?

    • This musical is a great representation of how we all are ironically isolated in this hyper-connected world and the struggles we go through to fit in.
    • Dear Evan Hansen feels deeply personal; a symbol of the hidden life each person of our generation lives.
    • Dear Evan Hansen is the winner of 3 Olivier Awards including WhatsOnStage Awards, Best Musical Award and a Critics’ Circle Theatre Award for the Best Newcomer, Sam Tutty.
    • If you’re someone who lets their emotions out with songs and shows, this is the musical for you.

Dear Evan Hansen is a deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about the lives we live. The music and lyrics are written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and draw inspiration from a book by Steven Levenson. The cast includes exceptionally talented Sam Tutty in the role of Evan, along with Marcus Harman who will play Evan Hansen at certain performances, Rebecca McKinnis as Heidi Hansen, Doug Colling as Connor Murphy, Lucy Anderson as Zoe Murphy, Jack Loxton as Jared Kleinman, Rupert Young as Larry Murphy and Lauren Ward as Cynthia Murphy. The show has received numerous accolades globally and appreciation for raising a topic of contemporary significance.

    Storyline

Dear Evan Hansen chronicles the journey of Evan towards suicide and his eventual recovery. It shows how he struggled hard to fit in this world of paradoxical people living dual lives. It is the most vital and important music of the time according to Daily Mail, BazBamigboye. Unlike most Broadway musicals, it talks about the hardships of people whose lives are ruined by peer pressure. It’s a timeless musical by a generation for all generations!

The people at the theatre were so helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our experience there. The musical Dear Evan Hansen is amazing. I only knew the soundtrack of the musical before we watched it. That was the we wanted to watch it in the first place. It is now officially my absolute favourite musical of all time and if I ever get back to London I would definitely watch it again.

when the performing their solo, they usually stand closer to the edge of the stage and the view from the Balcony can only be viewed from mid section of the stage to the back of the stage so we don't see when performers are close to the front of the stage.
