The Story
A story of love, loss, and societal constraints, Brokeback Mountain follows Jack and Ennis, two young men who live in conservative, small-town communities in abject poverty. When they accept jobs on the remote Brokeback Mountain, an intimate bond develops between them. But soon, they have to face the cold hard reality of society and the catastrophic repercussions of their forbidden love as they traverse the difficult spaces that lie within their psyches – the new and surprising attachment that forms within their souls.
