The cult classic story of Bonnie and Clyde told through a musical is all set to premier at the London Arts Theater in April 2022. The musical dramatizes the true story of two infamous criminals, Bonnie and Clyde and the takes you through their love story, how they turned to a life of crime, and their incredible escapades.
Taking the lead roles in this thrilling musical are Olivier-Award nominee Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage as Bonnie and Clyde, respectively. Laurence Olivier award-winner George Maguire takes the role of Buck Barrow and Natalie McQueen has been cast as Blanche Barrow. The full ensemble includes many talented artists such as Ako Mitchell, Lauren Jones, Gracie Lai, and more.
Nick Winston is returning to direct this beautiful masterpiece while the set and costume design will be managed by Philip Whitcomb. The music for Bonnie and Clyde has been composed by Tony-award nominated composer Frank Wildhorn and the lyrics are by Don Black, a Tony and Laurence Olivier-award winner lyricist.

The Story

Set against the backdrop of the Great Depression, Bonnie and Clyde traces the story of two ordinary people hailing from small towns in Texas who carried the dream of a bigger life and became America's well-known anti-heroes. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were fearless in their ambition and their life of crime was incredibly glamorous.
When they first met, sparks flew and their chase for fame and riches stopped at nothing. Tired of living in poverty, they break laws, rob banks and successfully evade getting captured by the police on many occasions.
It is a memorable tale of true love, crime, and adventure. Watch these young lovers on the run adamant on their quest to fulfil their dreams in a world that was set against them.
