Why watch Your Lie in April?

  • The critically acclaimed musical adaptation of Your Lie in April is coming back to the West End, one of the greatest tearjerkers in manga history, at Harold Pinter Theater.
  • Adapted from the manga that sold over 7.5 million copies, the musical brings to life the heartfelt story of a young piano prodigy overcoming loss and rediscovering his passion for music.
  • With music from Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award-nominated composer Frank Wildhorn (Death Note The Musical, Jekyll & Hyde, Bonnie & Clyde), this revival is set to capture new hearts.
  • The story showcases the transformative power of music and friendship, and after a sold-out run earlier this year, it's set to return for a limited run.

Your Lie in April is returning to the West End with some of the best in the business. Nick Winston, who has experience directing and choreographing Death Note, Fame, and Annie, will be at the helm for this production. Leading the cast are rising stars Zheng Xi Yong (Kosei) and Mia Kobayashi (Kaori), alongside established performers like Rachel Clare Chan (Tsubaki) and Dean John-Wilson (Ryota), both with credits in major productions like Death Note and The King & I. This highly anticipated premiere promises to capture the emotional depth of the original story for a whole new audience.

Kosei Arima, a talented young pianist, loses his passion for music after his mother's passing. However, his world changes when he meets the vivacious violinist Kaori Miyazono. As their friendship blossoms, Kaori's zest for life reignites Kosei's love for music. But their newfound happiness is shrouded in mystery as hints suggest Kaori may be hiding a secret. Will their love story have a happy ending, or is Kaori's secret a melody that could leave Kosei heartbroken once more? Book tickets for Your Lie in April in London to find out!
