Storyline

Unexpected Twist follows the journey of Shona, our young protagonist, who is a student at a new school and goes through odd adventures. In this tale, the classic Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens is required reading in the classroom, and Shona experiences feelings of alienation similar to Oliver's. She tries to settle in and stay out of trouble. But her plans go awry when a stranger hands her a new phone, which starts to fuel her suspicions that the new boys she has met are acting especially strangely.
