I am a Theatre Director and Theatre Practitioner and and Ocean at the end of the Lane combines my favourite type of Theatre(i.e. Inovative storytelling, physical, visual /creative,ensemble, challenging together with one of my favourite writers - Neil Gaiman.) Having read the book and the play script , I still wasn't fully prepared for the audacious Direction and production style. This show deserved a standing ovation, but I think the audience were so overwhelmed by the energy and enormity of the story , that I think they were still processing it , so weren't able to respond to the brilliance of the production. I love this kind of production , and especially appreciated the ensemble who were totally committed and were just as mesmerising as the principles, so full congratulations to all involved , including production , and especially the lighting and puppet designers.Such a shame that the run is finally ending.

Got to the venue early to pick up the physical tickets and they told us it wasn't necessary, and they just scanned our e-tickets on the way in at the time of the event. We did appreciate the warning about COVID certificate requirements in advance, though!
