Based on a novel by the same name by Hilary Mantel, The Mirror and the Light is having its world premiere at the Gielgud Theatre, London. The show is produced by Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company and one can catch its world premiere starting from 23rd September 2021. The previous installments of this show won Olivier and Tony Awards and had their shows sold out in London, the same is expected for this last installment.

The Mirror and the Light is a historical novel about Thomas Cromwell and has been adapted for the stage by Mantel and Ben Miles. Starring as Cromwell is Ben Miles who is known for working in many theatre productions, films, and TV roles. Nathaniel Parker would be reprising his role as Henry VIII for which he won an Olivier Award in the earlier installments.

Apart from these talented and award-winning stars, the show is being directed by Jeremy Herrin who was nominated for the Olivier Award for the previous two productions. Overall, the play looks quite promising and would be a great family watch.

The Story

The Mirror and the Light is the third installment in the Wolf Hall trilogy. The story revolves around the historical figure, Thomas Cromwell.
