Based on and inspired by the award-winning film, directed by Baz Luhrmann, this musical revolves around the rebellious Scott Hastings and inexperienced Fran – two dancers from different ends of the dance world. Both of them are misfits and ready to prove to everyone else (and themselves) that they have what it takes to set the dance floor on fire. With music that includes smash-hit songs like 'Time After Time' and by acclaimed artists like David Foster and Sia, and direction and co-choreography by Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood, don’t miss this show-stopping musical at any cost.
The Story
Meet the arrogant, young ballroom dancer, Scott Hastings who loses the favour of the Australian Federation when he showcases his radical dance moves. He ends up dancing with novice dancer, Fran, who is literally just starting out on her dance journey.
Along the way, they find the fire within to defy tradition and rules. In order to win, the steps don’t need to be just ballroom.
