The acclaimed director, choreographer Adam Cooper deftly adapts this story into the play, not compromising the magic it created on screen. The story revolves around two coming-of-age actors who foray into the world of cinema at the dawn of talking-picture. Lockwood, the leading man is paired alongside Lina who tries hard to pursue him, despite his sincere disinterest in her. The story follows an eventual love triangle and its subsequent implications on the lives of these three people. It is a classic love story, peppered with singing and dancing that sets the mood of the story. The story has stood the test of time for good reason and is a must-watch for all theatre lovers.
