STOREHOUSE is a gripping, site-specific theatrical experience that plunges audiences into a labyrinth of mystery and suspense. Set in a disused industrial warehouse, the production combines immersive storytelling, live performance, and interactive elements to create a truly unique night out.Storehouse marks the debut of Sage & Jester’s bold new venture into immersive theatre, staged in a former newspaper paper store at Deptford Storehouse. Since June 12, 2025, audiences have moved through cavernous, maze-like corridors piecing together fragmented human memories dating from the dawn of the internet in 1983.

The cast includes acclaimed voice actors like Toby Jones, Meera Syal, Kathryn Hunter and Billy Howle supported by a compelling physical ensemble . Designed by a multi-award-winning team with experience in BBC Studios and Warner Music, the show combines choreography, striking lighting by Ben Donoghue, soundscapes by James Bulley and original music to immerse visitors in a debate on truth and memory. Critics praise the visual and auditory scale: Guardian calls it “impressively gargantuan, with rooms as big as aeroplane hangars” while London Theatre notes “sky‑high production values”.

Produced by an award-winning team known for redefining audience engagement, whose previous works include The Great Gatsby Immersive and The Burnt City, and led by media executive and cultural innovator Liana Patarkatsishvili, this show explores themes of misinformation and media manipulation. Backed by strong funding, STOREHOUSE promises an ambitious take on how narratives are shaped and fought over.

Storyline

Something sinister lurks within the walls of an abandoned storage facility. In this triggered narrative, audiences join an underground collective safeguarding every digital message, meme, news story and memory stored since 1983. Set within a decaying archive, you must decide what belongs, what’s rewritten, and what’s erased while a crumbling founder’s legacy hangs in the balance. Themes of control, dissent, and media manipulation emerge as rooms breathe with secret rituals and cryptic messages, pulling you deeper into the conflict. The story unfolds around you, with multiple possible outcomes based on where you go and who you interact with.
