Opening on Oct 25, 2025
Following an earlier successful run, Tweedy, star clown of Giffords Circus, returns with a new solo show in London that tests the limits of theatre and physical comedy. Over 60 minutes, he tackles everyday objects (and AI) gone rogue, forcing him to juggle disaster, absurdity, and surprise in equal measure. He doesn’t rely on spectacle or illusions, but on timing, invention, and sheer clowning skill. The show is produced for Underbelly Boulevard Soho, with technical support from Ross McDonald and Anastasia Metreveli. The critical acclaim and audience affection for Tweedy, described as “the best clown I have ever seen” (The Independent), lend confidence that this show will deliver both heart and hilarity.
Tweedy is on stage alone, attempting a solo performance that quickly spirals out of control. His props have minds of their own, limbs refuse to cooperate, and Alexa (yes, the AI assistant) starts misbehaving. What ensues is a sequence of physical comedy, improvisatory rescue acts, and heartening persistence. Tweedy’s Massive Solo Show in London invites you into a world where the absurd becomes the plot, and where Tweedy must outwit his own stage to win over the audience.
Show timings for Tweedy's Massive Solo Show may vary every week. You can check the show timings for your preferred date at the next stage of booking.
