The Story
Prima Facie is about Tessa, a brilliant barrister, who loves to win. She has worked hard to reach the top by defending and cross-examining victims and witnesses through the years. However, an unexpected turn sees her on the other side of the table where she has to fight the justice system that helped her all these years.
Watch her fight for the victim in a set-up where patriarchy is strong and the availability of proof doesn’t necessarily mean an easy verdict. Will she win this battle too? Or will she lose the one fight that matters the most?
