Revolving around the life of a girl belonging to a non-traditional family, this story unwraps a trail of secrets that threatens the family’s strength and risks breaking them apart. The show also throws light on the complexities that exist within a family and gives an insight into diverse sexualities and non-traditional families.
The story finds its basis in the life of a girl named Eleanor, an American college student. Eager to know the truth behind her origin she is on a quest of finding her birth father to get answers to her vague identity. Eleanor’s boyfriend decides on helping her by hiring a private investigator to find her father and lessen her agony. Her desperation to find her truth entails a series of secrets hidden far away from Eleanor which forces the family to finally face the reality and not run away from it.
