Storyline
Chess The Musical is a highly charged musical drama centred on a chess tournament where two masters battle it out. The game which is hosted in Bangkok between the Americans and the Soviets is being shaped and manipulated by their individual governments for political ends during the heights of the Cold War. When a fascinating Hungarian refugee suddenly appears, she becomes a new player in their intense game. The struggle threatens to wreck their lives as they are no more than pawns caught in the political game of chess played by their governments.
