Founded by Louise Richards and Kevin Finnan MBE in 1988, Motionhouse has been creating mesmerizing dance-circus productions for years now. You will detect athletic physicality, powerful narrative, incredible digital imagery, and emotive sound scores in their productions, all of which combine to provide a transformative experience to their audience.
Taking inspiration from human trivialities and concerns, they seek to explore the connection human beings have to the world in which we live. Nobody is fast-moving and highly physical, whilst exploring the tension between our inner lives and how we make sense of the world around us.
Making use of extraordinary choreography, Motonhouse tells its audience an inspiring story complete with twists and turns. The audience is left confused yet mesmerized at the larger-than-life projections and shape-shifting set. Seven characters are introduced who take us with them on their way to self-discovery. Interestingly, we see a group of curious crows questions their every move. Nobody is not only a visual treat but also a poignant story that will resonate with its audience.
