Opening on Oct 14, 2025
Musik is a darkly funny, provocative one-woman show that spins the scandalous life story of Billie Trix, a washed-up rock icon and self-proclaimed “truth-teller.” Written by Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing, Gimme Gimme Gimme) and featuring original songs by synth-pop royalty Pet Shop Boys, Musik was first staged at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 to sold-out houses and rave reviews.
Frances Barber reprises her outrageous role with dazzling presence, bringing Billie’s absurd, painfully honest memoirs to life on stage. Expect blistering wit, biting satire and glitter-flecked anthems that straddle the line between nightclub nostalgia and searing social commentary. Set in London’s gorgeously weathered Wilton’s Music Hall, this limited run promises a show that’s equal parts concert, confession, and chaos.
Meet Billie Trix—Warholian muse, punk survivor, and self-appointed cultural oracle. From 1970s Berlin to 2000s Vegas, Billie has lived through it all... or at least she claims to. As she recounts the twisted tales of her so-called life, reality and self-delusion blur into a hilariously tragic portrait of a woman both ahead of and behind her time. Is Billie a legend, a liar, or both? Book your Musik (with Frances Barber) tickets for a blisteringly funny show!
