Here’s what we think: Review by Headout

Shakespeare’s cackling play gets a melodious reboot in this high-stakes musical about a quarreling couple making a musical. The classic narration of The Taming of the Shrew has been adapted, and tamed, into a stellar production that is in equal parts clever and absurd. At the center are Lilli, a young, vivacious, and hopeful performer, and Fred, the egotistical director and her infamous ex-husband. The passionate love that once bubbled between them has given way to constant yelling, name-calling, and even gun-toting gangsters. Is the intense animosity actually a desperate attempt to rekindle the lost fire between them? Find who wins in the tussle between love and hate at the Barbican Theatre on London’s West End.

What a fantastic show; the performers were excellent. This was my first time seeing this show as I wanted to get the memory of the films out of my head, and I am glad I eventually saw it. The stage sets and costumes were great; the singing was out of this world. It is well worth a visit and the tickets were reasonably priced.

The cast was truly amazing. I laughed, i cried and went throughn every emotion possible. But mostly I was just amazed what these people do there on stage. Not only were they amazing singers, but also so impressive when it comes to acring, comedy or performing. Our seats were great as well, i was a bit worried since they were last row but honestly it couldn't have been a better experience.

The Comedy About Spies

Experience
Mark Sell
A sold-out house, comedy with lots of slapstick and plenty of action on stage, with the typical English mystery twist at the end. For German visitors: don't be surprised by the queue outside 10 minutes before the show starts; the play starts on time. And wine and beer at your seat? No problem!

Headout was actually the downside of the entire exerperience. The experience was fantastic. No video will do it justice, the staff were amazing and just sitting in each of the galleries takes you to another world. Only downside, a crashing website which contained my ticket. Continous pestering from Headout. I prefer to just get the ticket and enjoy the experience, not have it ruined by marketting emails

We enjoyed the 'Much ado about nothing' play yesterday. The cast were all very well rehearsed and suited for their respective roles. I have already recommended this to others in last day.

Phantom of the Opera

Experience

The Phantom of the Opera is a perfect show to rest and relax for 2h30+ minutes in the center of London. If it rains or you are tired of walking, it serves as an unbeatable break and musical entertainment. The music, the songs, the costumes, and the production—everything was fantastic. A beautiful theater and clean restrooms. You have the option to get a drink or something before or during the show, and there is merchandise to remember the performance by, such as magnets, bags, and even a red rose with the song lyrics on a red ribbon. Beautiful.

Phantom of the Opera

Experience

Phantom of the Opera is so incredible. This is my 3rd or 4th time seeing it, and it never gets old. The actor who played the Phantom had such strong, beautiful vocals. The entire experience was lovely from the people at the entrance to those working at the bar to of course the musical itself. Our seats were also great for the price and we could see the entire stage very well, even with a peak of the orchestra. I would recommend anyone considering seeing Phantom to do it here in London!
