Once she’s accepted into Heathers, her life changes bringing with it a whole new set of challenges.
Winning the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Musical, the musical features a book, music, and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy. The Story
Heathers follows the story of a young Veronica Sawyer, a “nobody” in high school, who dreams of becoming one of the popular kids. Her dreams start to come true when she’s accepted into the popular clique, Heathers. This group happens to be right on top of the social pyramid, putting Veronica on the map.
Veronica soon gets the attention she’s been longing for with her new clique. She even goes on to attract the attention of teen rebel Jason Dean or JD for short. She is lovestruck! Many hurdles in the form of decisions, actions, and testimonies await Veronica after she becomes the “somebody” she’s always wanted to be.
