From Here to Eternity musical is a show adapted from James Jones' famous 1951 novel. Stuart Brayson's music and Sir Tim Rice's lyrics transform the novel into a musical. The lyricist has earned major prizes, notably four Tony Awards and three Academy Awards. Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Chess are among his notable productions. Brett Smock, the Producing Artistic Director of The Rev Theatre in New York, will direct From Here to Eternity. The show also features a book by Bill Oakes, who wrote and produced Grease and Grease 2. Stewart Charlesworth is the set and costume designer. Andrew Johnson acts as the sound designer, with Cressida Carré as the choreographer, and Ollie Hancock as the production coordinator. Meanwhile, Jane Deitch is the casting director, and Chris Matanlé is the general manager. From Here to Eternity will open in the Charing Cross Theatre on the 29th of October.
