From Here to Eternity musical is a show adapted from James Jones' famous 1951 novel. Stuart Brayson's music and Sir Tim Rice's lyrics transform the novel into a musical. The lyricist has earned major prizes, notably four Tony Awards and three Academy Awards. Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Chess are among his notable productions. Brett Smock, the Producing Artistic Director of The Rev Theatre in New York, will direct From Here to Eternity. The show also features a book by Bill Oakes, who wrote and produced Grease and Grease 2. Stewart Charlesworth is the set and costume designer. Andrew Johnson acts as the sound designer, with Cressida Carré as the choreographer, and Ollie Hancock as the production coordinator. Meanwhile, Jane Deitch is the casting director, and Chris Matanlé is the general manager. From Here to Eternity will open in the Charing Cross Theatre on the 29th of October. Storyline
Set in Hawaii in the weeks leading up to the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack, From Here To Eternity musical is a dramatic story that explores the tale of the soldiers of G Company and their lovers, as they fall into tragic and hazardous romances. The story of life in the army, relationships, and clandestine love is told in this freshly revived performance. They have no idea that their lives are about to be changed irrevocably.
