Circus 1903 is a contemporary circus troupe from America that has dazzled audiences all over the world with its splendid array of daredevil acts. The show is filled with old-school razzle-dazzle and is reminiscent of the P. T. Barnum circus-era. More importantly, creators of the show are keen to pay homage to the golden age of the circus at the turn of the last century.
The troupe received a rousing welcome upon its European debut at the Southbank Centre in 2018. It hasn’t looked back ever since!
The Story
Prepare to be dazzled as Circus 1903 brings you some of the most riveting circus acts for a highly-limited run during this year's festive season. You can’t help but watch in astonishment as high-wire walkers, contortionists, acrobats, and knife-throwers pull off remarkable death-defying acts. However, it is the giant, lifelike elephant puppets (by Significant Object) that is arguably the highlight of the show. With so much entertainment packed in its 2 hours and 20 minutes run time, you won’t be able to pull your eyes away from the stage for even a second.
