Ben Elton’s career-defining work came in the 1980s. The fame and success that followed cemented his status as a trailblazer in the world of comedy. His writing contribution towards classic shows like Blackadder and Upstart Crow will always be one of his outstanding achievements. Furthermore, he has also written the compilation show, We Will Rock You featuring the music of Queen. The musical went on to win the Theatregoers' Choice Award for Best New Musical in 2003.

The Story

The legendary comedian, now in his 60s, brings in a seasoned perspective about his pet peeves from everyday life for a short run from December 20 to December 30, 2021. At first glance, it may sound like the amusing ramblings of an older gentleman, but upon closer inspection, you can’t help but marvel at his ingenuity to hit the message home deftly, all the while, avoiding being the target of cancel culture. You may also find yourself nodding along with many of his opinions and secretly admiring his sharp wit and keen observations.
