Dominion Theatre
The Dominion Theatre is one of London West End’s largest theatres and is located on Tottenham Court Road. The theatre, which opened in 1929 was originally planned to be a live musical theatre. However, in 1930 the theatre premiered Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights which established the theatre’s future course as a place for live theatre as well as films. Dominion Theatre has since hosted several plays including the musical, ‘We Will Rock You’, and ‘Royal Variety Performance’. The nearest stations to Dominion Theatre are Charring Cross, King’s Cross and Euston. The distance from both of these stations to the theatre is approximately a 20-minute walk.
