The show not only depicts the designer’s successful fashion shows, it also sheds light on his early years, family, relationships and how he broke out of societal norms and taboos to emerge as a victorious fashion designer. What’s more is that all of of this is set to hit disco, funk, pop, and rock tracks.
Storyline
It is not possible to define Jean-Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freak Show as just a story. The show highlights the life, career, relationships and struggles of the haute couture designer but there is so much more to a show. With a talented ensemble of actors, singers, dancers, and circus performers giving it their all on live stage, you are in for an indulgence of all your senses.
The story of Jean-Paul Gaultier, his outstanding fashion shows is set an amazing musical score combining tracks from genres like rock, New Wave, punk, funk, and more.

About Theatre
Built in 1847, the RoundHouse initially served as a steam engine repair shed before eventually turning into a venue for performing arts and concerts. As the name suggests, the RoundHouse is an attractive cylindrical building with an umatchable capacity of accommodating 3,300 standing and 1,700 seated individuals.
The RoundHouse is a flexible venue and can be adjusted to suit the needs of a variety of different shows and performances. It has seen great concert performances from legendary singers like Jim Morrison and George Michael.
