Park Theatre opened its doors to the public in 2013, aiming to become a vibrant hub for theatre enthusiasts. The brainchild of Artistic Director, Jez Bond, and Creative Director Emeritus, Melli Bond, a vacant office block close to Finsbury Park station was converted into the theatre. Designed by David Hughes Architects, the venue cost £2.6 million and was built with the support of the theatre community, the press and the local residents. Theatre stars like Ian McKellen and Alan Rickman, too, championed it. Over the years, Park Theatre has welcomed renowned actors and emerging talents alike, hosting a wide range of plays that span from classic works to contemporary and original productions. Its two performance spaces, the Park200 and the Park90 have provided platforms for both established and emerging playwrights, contributing to the growth and development of theatre in London.

From the satirical exploration of Boris Johnson's life in The Last Temptation of Boris Johnson to Sean Holmes’ Twelfth Night, an innovative take on the Shakespeare classic, to Pressure, a powerful historical drama centred around the critical weather forecast for the D-Day invasion, these productions have left a lasting impact. Additionally, The Life I Lead provided a captivating one-man show that delved into the life of actor David Tomlinson. Each of these productions showcased the diverse storytelling and exceptional performances that Park Theatre is known for, solidifying its reputation as a venue that consistently delivers engaging and unforgettable experiences for theatre enthusiasts.

• Train: Park Theatre is a 9-minute journey from Old Street and a short 11-minute commute from Moorgate.
  
• Tube: The closest Tube station is Finsbury Park Station. Situated on the Victoria and Piccadilly lines, Park Theatre is also a mere 5-minute journey from Kings Cross and a short 11-minute commute from Oxford Circus.
  
• Bus: Regular buses from Camden, Highgate, Hampstead, Islington, Muswell Hill and Stoke Newington are available to Park Theatre.
  
• Parking: Fonthill, 169 Queen's Drive, Waitrose and Arena Shopping Park are some parking facilities near the Park Theatre. On the days when there are Arsenal matches, there are certain parking restrictions. Make sure you plan where you're parking your vehicle before you step out.
