Why watch West End Musicals by Candlelight?

  • Performed by London Concertante, West End Musicals by Candlelight will sweep you away on a magical carpet ride with Aladdin, take you right back in time with songs from Hamilton and then to modern high school with songs from Dear Evan Hanson.
  • Forget the bright lights of the West End and listen to these performers play songs you can sing along to by candlelight. Secret London’s Anna-Maya Pawlowski has said, ‘just picture the collective power of an orchestra and the kind of extraordinary heights it is capable of reaching’
  • Every Candlelight Concert takes place in an architecturally stunning venue, and the intimate Cadogan Hall will play host to the warm welcome of hundreds of flickering candles, perfect to hum along to the show tunes performed!

Walk down the intimate venue of Cadogan Hall amidst hundreds of candles to London Concertante's West End Musicals by Candlelight. These are tunes with the timeless allure of classics like Guys and Dolls and Oklahoma!, but be ready for a contemporary spin with Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen.

It’s a warm inviting atmosphere that will make audience goers of all ages feel like they’re in a fairytale, but somehow, still know the lyrics to every song. London Concertante themselves say ‘What truly sets London Concertante apart is their ability to communicate with the audience, their concerts presented in both an exceptionally professional, yet informal way.’ The production is meant to bring audiences closer together, rather than the traditional concert hall. It’s perfect for the whole family, even if you’ve never seen the show!

Cadogan Hall

Cadogan Hall is a gem in the heart of Chelsea, with intimate seating and incredible acoustics. The hall primarily features music performances, hosting world-class orchestras to intimate jazz and folk productions. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is the Hall’s resident ensemble. But the Hall’s lineup is so much more than that! There are rock, pop, and musical theatre shows, plus talks, book launches, and even podcast recordings.

The venue itself is steeped in history—originally a church built in the Byzantine Revival style back in 1907, with gorgeous stained glass by Danish artist Arild Rosenkrantz. It feels like stepping into a piece of art and adds to the whole experience of Concerts by Candlelight. Whether you're coming to see a grand orchestral performance or a laid-back jazz gig, the vibe at Cadogan Hall is warm and welcoming.
