Stalls

The Stalls are narrow and deep, without a central aisle. Rows widen toward the middle, and a gentle curve ensures that seats at the row ends have a good view of the stage.
A good rake prevents the view from being blocked by audience members in front. The best seats are in the middle of the Stalls. The first four rows can feel too close, occasionally missing dancers' feet.
The First Circle overhang slightly obstructs the top of the stage in the rear Stalls, but this doesn't significantly impact the viewing experience.

First Circle

Rows A-M

The First Circle is wide and deep, lacking a central aisle. The first four rows curve around the balcony, with the middle seats providing a direct view of the stage.
A good rake ensures minimal restrictions. The best seats are in the front rows, which have an unobstructed view due to the absence of a safety rail.
The rear seats are somewhat restricted by the Second Circle overhang and are located under technical boxes, which can be distracting. These factors are reflected in the lower pricing for these seats.

Second Circle

Rows A-Q

The Second Circle is the highest and most distant section from the stage in the theatre. It features restricted slips along the edge that provide a side view of the stage.
Two narrow aisles run down either side, with a slim seating area spanning the length of the balcony. Seats towards the back are the most affordable but can feel quite far from the stage.
While sightlines are generally unobstructed, the best views are found closer to the front. The rows have a slight curve, which does not significantly impact the overall view.

Accessible seating in Sadler's Wells

Stalls: The rear of the Stalls is accessible via three steps from the foyer, with handrails available. Alternatively, there is level access to the middle of the Stalls through a corridor to the right of the steps. Row K offers wheelchair-adapted seating and transfer options. Extra legroom is available in the front row.
First Circle: The First Circle is accessible via 42 steps from the foyer, with handrails provided. Alternatively, a customer lift is available for access. Seats in Row M can be adapted to accommodate a wheelchair.
Second Circle: The Second Circle is accessible via 63 steps from the foyer, with handrails on either side. A customer lift also provides access to this section. There are no wheelchair spaces in the Second Circle, and legroom can be limited.
