The Rose Theatre Kingston is located on Kingston High Street in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The theatre can accommodate 822 people around a large thrust stage. On January 16, 2008, it made its official launch with the Anton Chekhov play Uncle Vanya, which was directed by Sir Peter Hall.
