Composer of the Phantom of the Opera
A British composer and impresario of musical theatre, Webber runs one of the largest theatre operating firms in London- The Really Useful Group. He owns numerous London theatres, including the Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Webber was the brains behind the hit show Phantom of the Opera, as well as many more including Cats, Starlight Express and more, eventually winning him an Oscar, four Grammys, eight Tony’s, a Golden Globe and an Emmy award. His shows have run on West End and Broadway for over forty years.
Lloyd was knighted in 1992, and also runs a Foundation to promote artistic diversity among students, and also provides them with scholarships.
